K.SEO · PERFORMANCE GUIDE

rankings. Test.

Published "top agency" lists are mostly paid placements or SEO plays by the agencies on them. A more useful approach is a short set of technical questions — the answers separate operators from resellers within about ten minutes.

Ask about the tracking stack first

"Is the Conversions API running server-side, and how are you deduplicating events against the browser pixel?" An agency doing real work answers immediately. One that doesn't will reframe the question. Tracking rigour predicts account quality better than any case study, because everything downstream depends on it.

02

Ask how many creatives ship per month

Creative is the primary lever on cost per acquisition now that targeting is largely automated. An agency shipping three ads a month and blaming the algorithm is describing its own constraint. Fifteen to twenty new assets monthly is what a scaling account needs.

03

Ask what they'd stop doing

A good operator will tell you which channel or campaign they'd switch off. An agency whose fee scales with your spend has an obvious incentive not to — which is worth knowing before you choose a percentage-of-spend model over a flat fee.

Where we fit

Questions people ask

Flat fee or percentage of spend?

Percentage models align the agency with scale but also with spending more. Flat fees keep the incentive on efficiency. We work flat for that reason, though percentage can make sense at very large spend levels.

How much ad spend do we need?

₹50,000–₹1,00,000 a month is the realistic floor for readable data in most categories. Below that, you're paying for a test too small to learn from.

What's a good ROAS?

Entirely category-dependent — a 2x in high-margin services can be excellent while a 4x in low-margin retail loses money. Anyone quoting a universal target isn't looking at your margins.
